Catching the game on the Upper East Side? Stax has a multitude of television screens, so you can cheer on your home team. A spacious neighbourhood sports bar, they also serve a range of drinks and American-style food.
The menu is split up into a few different sections, including ‘snax’, shared, man ‘n’ cheese, sliders, ‘handhelds’, burgers, wings and salads. And amongst regular classics, such as pulled pork sliders with sweet BBQ sauce and coleslaw ($15) and (of course) fries ($5), you’ll also come across some more unusual bar-side offerings, such as fried brussell sprouts ($10) and buffalo cauliflower with blue cheese dip ($12). Prefer to personalise? You can create your own burger, too (from $14).
As far as drinks go, happy hour runs from 4pm-8pm, Monday-Friday. Just pick from the draft selection, margaritas, ‘well drinks’ (mixed drinks and shots), wine and juice. Stax also hold different events, such as themed brunches.
