Why they’re single:
Thang: Dating just isn’t really a priority for him right now.
Nasra: She’s very indecisive and not always sure what she wants.
Thang: Going to a museum or spending a night out doing karaoke
Nasra: Visiting a speakeasy and then walking through a park
Thang: “She was easy to pick out because she was alone at the end of the bar. I thought she was very attractive, exuberant and vivacious. She was really fun to talk to.”
Nasra: “The first thing I noticed was his unbelievable jawline. He was very fashionable and wearing a gorgeous shirt. He had a really great energy. We hit it off immediately.”
Thang: “There was romantic chemistry for sure. We were laughing the entire night. She even shared her secret love of Dashboard Confessional and My Chemical Romance.”
Nasra: “Within the first hour, we had already discussed a lot of the deeper aspects of our personalities. The conversation was so fluid—I felt like I really got to know him.”
Thang: “She gave me a Post-it that she’d written before the date with all the food options she thought we should consider ordering. She said she had revised the list twice.”
Nasra: “I admitted that I had searched for his first name on LinkedIn and found him. So I was like, ‘What did you do in your past life?’ but I already knew the answer.”
Thang: “We exchanged numbers, and then, as soon as we walked outside the market, I gave her a little smooch. We took the train going uptown for a bit, then parted ways.”
Nasra: “Around 10pm, we decided we should go home, so we rode the subway together and held hands. It was lovely and affectionate. We were kind of cuddly on the train.”
Thang: ♥♥♥♥♥ “I had a blast. I didn’t take it too seriously, and it ended up being so fun. It just seemed like we were really on the same wavelength.”
Nasra: ♥♥♥♥♥ “It was like we’d been friends for a long time. He’s brilliant and warm and smart and funny. Just everything you might look for in a person.”
