The Internet—the greatest source of entertainment since the advent of television—forms the basis of Allison Goldberg and Jen Jamula’s sketch-comedy show Blogologues, in which actors perform blog posts, tweets and other online miscellanea onstage. The duo’s latest production lampoons our cultural obsession with stardom. Source material includes the About page from Taylor Swift’s official website, a poem written by a Belieber, the famedaddy.com website (which claims to have celebrity sperm donors) and, of course, Miley Cyrus. Obviously, no meme-as-muse show would be complete without viral felines, who will be saluted through a parody of the musical Cats.
