It ain’t a Grammy, but the Polaris Music Prize, awarded for the year’s best Canadian album, does come with bragging rights and $30,000 in cash. Polaris founder Steve Jordan talks with Rolling Stone contributing editor Alan Light, former Voice music editor Maura Johnston and another TBA journo about the year’s short list.
