Canada’s 2012 Polaris Prize: A Panel Discussion
Feist, Metals
It ain’t a Grammy, but the Polaris Music Prize, awarded for the year’s best Canadian album, does come with bragging rights and $30,000 in cash. The 2012 honor went to Feist for her sublimely spare Metals. Polaris founder Steve Jordan talks with Rolling Stone contributing editor Alan Light, former Voice music editor Maura Johnston and another TBA journo about the year’s short list.
