Check out Time Out Los Angeles' Coachella coverage

Stay up-to-date on the great desert fest with our sister site.

Not heading all the way out west for Coachella this April? Not to worry: Our West Coast brethren at Time Out L.A. have got you covered with extensive Coachella coverage and all the critical info—from previews and interviews to up-to-the-minute news—on the yearly Indio, CA, music bacchanal.

This year's fest, which opens April 12–14 and returns the following weekend, April 19–21, features noteworthy New York artists such as Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend and Wu-Tang Clan (sadly though, Lou Reed has canceled). Headlining this year are Phoenix, the Stone Roses, Blur and Red Hot Chili Peppers. To hear about the stampede Baauer's "Harlem Shake" performance will surely cause and to find out which hologram-or-real guests will appear now that Daft Punk is officially out of the picture, head over to TOLA and stay tuned.

Also, get excited for NYC's own wallop of music festivals coming up this summer, like the Governors Ball and the Great GoogaMooga.
