City stories: Ricardo Rios, 25, and Tim Vanderper, 30; Williamsburg, Brooklyn

A sidewalk interview with two New Yorkers: “My biggest struggle at the moment is dating him. No, I’m kidding.”

What’s something people wouldn't know about you just by looking at you?
Rios (left): If someone saw me at the gym, they'd probably think I’m mean. But I use lifting as a way of coping with stress so most of the time I am in my own world, in my own head.

What would you say you’re most guilty of?
Vanderper: Knowing that I’m not living up to my fullest potential. There’s a lot more that I want to accomplish. To do that, you have to be willing to take risks and not get complacent in a place that no longer brings you satisfaction…regardless of the income.

What about you, Ricardo?
Rios: My biggest struggle at the moment is dating him. No, I’m kidding.
