Anyone who takes a lax approach to punctuality will get a kick out of wrist-wear brand Rakani’s debut collection, featuring six unisex styles ($150–$250) that bring common excuses for tardiness to life. Financier Chirayu Patel founded the line this past September after searching for a stylish watch for his girlfriend’s birthday that would tell a story as well as the time. Among our favorites of the whimsical faces is one depicting the hours literally falling by the wayside ($200), while other standouts feature tildes as approximate markers ($170), a triangular minute hand that adds five minutes to the current time ($170) and Roman numerals in reverse order ($170) as a clever nod to running behind schedule. rakani.com
