Eugene Mirman, Neil deGrasse Tyson and some very special guests talk about space at Town Hall

StarTalk Live makes a big Manhattan debut with "From Small Steps to Giant Leaps: Humans to the Moon, Mars and Beyond."

Superfans of the podcast StarTalk Live—be they science, math or comedy geeks—already have their tickets for the big blowout at Town Hall. It costs more than past shows ($35–$50 compared to, say, $15 at the Bell House) and was announced late, but with good reason: Their guests are thrilling.

The show—which features astrophysicist and Hayden Planetarium director Neil deGrasse Tyson and stand-up Eugene Mirman chatting with comedic and scientific luminaries about the nature of the universe—has a loyal following, many of whom show up to tapings and bellow memes ("Watch out, we got a badass over here!").

The big guest tonight honestly deserves the title of badass and we'd love to reveal who it is. We've been sworn to secrecy but we don't think anyone—science geek or not—will be disappointed. (We might say that everyone will be over the moon, but this sort of reference has already been dropped in the very suggestive title of the podcast.)

Come on, you say, they've had Alan Alda in the past. Is the guest bigger than Alan Alda? (Arguably.) Whether you figure it out or not, there's still time to get tickets.
