Are you still coming to terms with the most recent episode of Game of Thrones—you know, the one with the Red Wedding? We are. And we're pretty sure that the only thing that will make us feel better is ice cream. (Because that makes everything better, duh.)
And thanks to a new Foursquare campaign, our love of George R. R. Martin's fantasy epic and our love of frozen treats needn't be separate. Today, the social-media company introduced a new campaign called "Game of Cones": Nine NYC ice-cream shops—including Ample Hills Creamery, Big Gay Ice Cream and Blue Marble—will compete to win the "Iron Cone." (Whichever store gets the most Foursquare check-ins between June 7 and June 21 wins.) There are even nifty customized badges for those who check in at the sweetshops multiple times—just remember to use the hashtag #GameOfCones when you check in. And remember: Summer is coming.
