- Pitchfork branches out from music coverage into film with its new website, The Dissolve. It's got quite a roster of talent—former A.V. Club writers make up much of the staff—so we're excited to see how it develops. [The Dissolve]

- And in other website-launch news, the formerly-iOS-only Maura Magazine just introduced its new Web-based version. You'll need a subscription to access most of the content, but it's well worth it—you'll find smart takes on all aspects of culture therein. [Maura Magazine]

- Rolling Stone rounded up some of the most iconic dance moves in music, and then GIFed them. Our faves: David Byrne's arm chop; MC Hammer's running man. [Rolling Stone]

- In news that comes as no surprise to women, breasts can hinder your athletic performance. ESPN talked to female athletes about the issue, and it's one of the most insightful articles about boobs that you'll read all year. [ESPN]
