Lower East Side Opening Night

Art and fashion go together like Miley Cyrus and twerking (these days, at least). For Lower East Side Opening Night, more than 40 galleries will unveil their fall shows amid a giant block party and a “Looks of the Lower East Side” fashion show (6:30pm). Boutiques—including Quinn, Epaulet and Urban Cricket—will be hawking their wares to well-dressed revelers, while DJs and bands (such as punkers Countdown Love) liven up an outdoor stage.
