Color us very excited for the Rough Trade opening in Williamsburg later this month—especially now that we've seen its inaugural lineup of concerts. As you may already know, the iconic British record shop's first U.S. outpost will include a music venue with both free and ticketed shows, and it's all kicking off on the flagship's opening night with a gratis in-store set from the great Charles Bradley. Mark your calendars: That's November 25 at 8:30pm.

Additional no-fee highlights on the schedule include alt-folk songstress Marissa Nadler and Matthew Houck's psych-tinged country-rock project Phosphorescent (both Nov 30). As for the shows with paid entry, we're looking forward to JD Samson & MEN (Dec 14), Jagwar Ma (Dec 2) and Courtney Barnett (Feb 22), who was this writer's favorite show of CMJ 2013. There's lots more; head over to BrooklynVegan to see the entire Rough Trade NYC schedule thus far.
