“Museums are good in November. There’s one I’ve been to twice called the Museum of Mathematics (11 E 26th St between Fifth and Madison Aves, 212-542-0566, momath.org). It’s for little kids but I’m there doing crazy stuff. They have a roller coaster where you can calculate the distance it takes to come to you.”

“I’m a park person. You ever been to The High Line (Washington St at Gansevoort St to Tenth Ave at 30th St; 212-206-9922, thehighline.org)? They have flowers even late in the year and plant species that don’t grow here. There’s one called buckwheat that grows in Massachusetts and travels by wind. It’s resilient as fuck.”

Central Park (59th St to 110th St between Fifth and Eighth Aves; 212-310-6600, centralparknyc.org) is really nice, especially once the leaves start to fall. You can see the changes in real time, it’s really awesome. Do the cart ride—it’s a little pricey but it’s always good.”

“If you haven’t gone to the movies on the weekend, you aren’t human. I prefer the Bow Tie Chelsea theater (260 W 23rd St between Seventh and Eighth Aves; 212-777-3456, bowtiecinemas.com) because it’s small. You feel like you’re at home, and the people aren’t rowdy.”
