Photo of the day: A new LES mural from Hanksy

Gandalfini, a new work by the pun-loving graffiti artist, is a mash-up of the late Sopranos star and the White Rider from The Lord of the Rings.

Satirical street artist Hanksy put up a number of pieces on the Lower East Side last weekend, including the brilliant Gandalfini. As you can see, the visual punster fused the late James Gandolfini with J.R.R. Tolkien's Gandalf. Head to the intersection of Orchard and Grand Streets to take a look at the mural in person.
