Every year the Hudson Valley's Van Cortlandt Manor lights up with more than 5,000 hand-carved pumpkins for the Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze. For the autumn event, which runs on select nights through November 11, a team of artists decorates the historic site's walkways, orchards and gardens with elaborate gourd constructions, such as the life-size dinosaurs pictured above.
