Remember that time Lena Dunham wrote in to TONY's Get Naked column?

The Girls creator penned a letter to our own Jamie Bufalino as a precocious 19-year-old with a question about virginity.

So this is kind of adorable: Earlier today, Lena Dunham posted a series of photos to her Instagram account of the time that she wrote in to Time Out New York's Get Naked column. The year was 2005, she was 19, and she was still a virgin.

In the column, Dunham asked for Jamie Bufalino's advice on losing her virginity, and whether or not prospective partners should be informed of her virgin status. ("I speak for all my virgin friends when I say that confessing we are virgins has stopped more than one sexual experience from progressing further.")

Bufalino's advice was solid: "The last thing you need is some sly strategy for dropping the v-bomb on someone. All you have to do is proudly announce your status, and gauge a guy's screw-worthiness by how he reacts to the news. If he's standoffish or pervy, then ditch the loser." We hope Dunham followed his advice.

Dunham's snaps are below, and we also found the column in our archives; you can read it right here.
