See Tony DeSare perform on a Sing for Hope pop-up piano (video)

The New York cabaret singer showed his prowess and was joined by curious kids, spontaneous dancers and more.

Earlier this summer, Sing for Hope put 88 pianos for public use all over the city. The Pianos Project lasted 16 days, and last week the cabaret singer Tony DeSare released this video of himself going to town on as many of the instruments as he could in a single day.

The young jazz pianist tackles Irving Berlin's "I Love a Piano," appropriately—and the results are totally adorable. See curious tykes, photo-snapping tourists and the occasional cartwheeler join him in his musical love letter to the instruments and, of course, to NYC.
