Sneak Peak at Freshkills Park

Get a glimpse of Freshkills—formerly the world's largest landfill—which is currently being transformed into an enormous park on Staten Island. You can tour the new digs by foot, bicycle or kayak, and then munch on food-truck fare, catch live music and art exhibitions, and take part in other fun and free activities.
