Stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge in 1,177 photos (video)

This time-lapse video documents crossing the iconic structure, from its joggers and bikers to the stunning skyline views

It's no secret that we love a good time-lapse video. But one that combines the trippy effect with one of our favorite local landmarks? Consider us positively thrilled. That's how we felt when the above video landed in our inbox, courtesy of Jeremy Meek, a freelance photographer based in D.C. To make the black-and-white clip, he walked across the Brooklyn Bridge and took a photo every single step of the way. All in all, it took a little over an hour and a half to shoot. The result? Exactly 1,177 photos stitched together for this stunning depiction of the views and faces you pass along the way. Watch in hi-def for the best results.
