It barely feels like spring, but summer will be here quicker than we can say "hot dog," which means outdoor fests, alfresco dance parties and, of course, movie screenings in various parks and piers.

The SummerScreen website recently revealed the slate for its Wednesday night series at Williamsburg's McCarren Park, which will feature a range of '80s and '90s faves:

July 10: Can't Hardly Wait
July 17: Pee-wee's Big Adventure
July 24: The Craft
July 31: The Goonies
August 7: Speed
August 14: Audience Choice

Food trucks and music (both TBA) kicks things off at 6pm, and the movies will begin at sundown.

Meanwhile, Rooftop Films also announced its opening date: The alfresco screening series returns on May 10 and 11, with events both days at the Open Road Rooftop on the Lower East Side. On May 10, you can catch a program of short films; the 11th will feature a screening of Noah Baumbach's latest flick, Frances Ha, along with a Q&A with the director and his star (and girlfriend) Greta Gerwig. Rooftop's full summer roster will be posted soon on its website; keep checking back for more details.

For now, we leave you with one of the coolest scenes from the Tim Burton–directed Pee-wee's Big Adventure. (Just try to tell us you didn't want the breakfast machine as a kid…)
