People who like to laugh, get ready! The 2013 New York Comedy Festival is happening November 6 through 10, and there's a hell of a lineup for the fest's tenth anniversary. The preliminary schedule, which was announced this morning, includes Larry David (in conversation with David Steinberg), Wanda Sykes, Whitney Cummings, Bill Burr, John Mulaney and plenty more.

If these big-ticket shows, going down at grand venues like the Theater at Madison Square Garden and Carnegie Hall, don't appeal to you (or your wallet), there will also be emerging and indie comedians performing. Stay tuned for further lineup announcements as we move into fall.

If you want to win free tickets to New York Comedy Festival, get your wits ready for TONY’s 2013 Twitter Joke Contest. Watch our comedy page and follow @TheMatthewLove on Twitter for the contest announcement, and take a look at last year’s #BoroBash winners for inspiration.

A presale for Citibank cardholders starts today, and the general sale begins Monday, August 12 at 10am. Head over to the fest's website or Ticketmaster to get yours. Here's a video of John Mulaney on Comedy Central to tide you over until November.
