Where to watch the Golden Globes this weekend

Or just stay indoors and play Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's special drinking game. Either way.

In all of the fuss over yesterday's announcement of this year's Oscar nominations, the fact that the Golden Globes are on Sunday, January 13, has been slightly overshadowed. But it shouldn't be! Mostly because, hello, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are hosting. That is a comedic dream team, people.

So where can you watch the show? Newish comedy club The Stand holds a live roast of the Golden Globes, featuring jokes and commentary from Harrison Greenbaum, Jessimae Peluso and Jen Remauro. (Although we will not hear of any snarking on Tina and Amy. Uncool.) The shindig starts at 8pm, and tickets are $15; but if you order online and enter the promo code "GLOBES" you'll get five bucks off.

Williamsburg screening room Videology will also hold a viewing party, hosted by comedians Shannon Coffey and Maggie Ross. Dress in your finest garb: There'll be a red carpet, along with Globes trivia, drink specials and costume changes.

If, however, you'd rather watch the Globes in your pajamas and follow along on Twitter, we suggest you try out this Golden Globes drinking game that Poehler and Fey devised for The Hollywood Reporter. (Just be careful: If you drink every time an actress cries you may end up with alcohol poisoning by the end of the night.)
