Orlando Museum of Art says
Celebrate the opening of our fall exhibits "THE CONVERSATION CONTINUES" and "FAMILIAR MYSTERIES" on Friday, September 16 from 6:30-8pm.

"The Conversation Continues" boasts a collection of contemporary art by many prominent artists over a span of 40 years. James Cottrell and Joseph Lovett have been building an exceptional collection of contemporary art that includes work by internationally recognized artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, David Hockney, Robert Mapplethorpe, Deborah Kass and Malcolm Morley.

Matthew Capaldo’s works in "Familiar Mysteries" include figurative paintings presenting psychologically charged narratives of contemporary life, balancing a tension between flux and stillness, saturation and transparency. Capaldo’s paintings depict scenes in which individuals or groups are engaged in situations that appear both mysterious and strangely familiar.

Collectors James Cottrell and Joseph Lovett, Guest Curator Sue Scott and artist Matthew Capaldo will be in attendance!
