Save The Live Oaks At Constitution Green Rally & Picnic

Advertising

Time Out says

Constitution Green is a "park" that is privately owned by the Caruso family and has been maintained by the City of Orlando for many years. Within the Green are several live oak trees, one is over 100 years old. The Carusos want to sell the property and are planning to cut down these majestic live oaks. Efforts to reach a compromise to save the trees by Commissioner Sheehan have been rejected by the land owners. We need to let the land owners and our city government know we want these ancient trees saved. Please join us for a Rally to save the Oaks. Bring your friends, family, signs, chairs, blankets, coolers etc. Eric Rollings & other speakers will be there to provide updates and a call to action. Constitution Green is at the corner of South St & Summerlin Ave. We will meet by the giant live oak..
