"Take A Lichen To The Plants!" Edible & Medicinal Herb Walk With Annie

Florida School of Holistic Living says
Come learn about medicinal and edible plants growing wild in the Orlando area! We will learn how to identify the plants and how they are currently and historically utilized by humans and other creatures. Consider bringing a pen and paper to take notes, if you'd like. The walk will last approximately two hours and will end with a taste of wild herbal tea!

Held at Mead Botanical Garden
1500 S Denning Drive, Winter Park FL 32789
* Meet in the parking area by the Bulletin Board, near the Winter Park Garden Club building

Cost: $20.00 for individuals in advance or $35 for couples in advance
$25 individual rate at-the-door (no group discount at-the-door)

Ages 6 and under free with an adult, 15 and under $10 with an adult, and 16 and up individual adult tuition

Instructor: Annie SewDev
Annie SewDev is an herbalist and EMT in central Florida. She offers donation based herbal wellness consultations, wildcrafts and prepares herbal medicine, teaches about plant identification and utilization, and offers free herbal first aid in downtown Orlando. With great fondness for the place that she lives, she seeks to practice bioregional herbalism, using local plants to improve the quality of life and reduce suffering. She enjoys botanizing with friends, cooking with wild foods, and learning all the intricacies of the relationship between plants and humans.
