Women and Abstraction opens on Saturday, April 18 and runs through Sunday, August 2. This exhibition sheds light on the contribution of women artists to abstraction with an emphasis on the post-war period to the present. Although by no means exhaustive, Women and Abstraction
examines the legacy of women artists and abstraction in order to understand a fuller, more dynamic story of modern and contemporary art. The exhibition includes works from 29 artists such as Ruth Asawa, Rosemarie Castoro, Helen Frankenthaler, Ellen Garvens, Dana Hargrove, Lee Krasner, Jessica McCambly, Georgia O'Keeffe, Hayal Pozanti, Barbara Sorensen, and Alma Thomas.

Free Admission and open to the Community. Please help us spread the word by sharing this event!

The Cornell Fine Arts Museum is located on the Rollins College campus. No reservations or tickets are required for this event. Free parking is available on campus and in the SunTrust Garage on Lyman Avenue with a Museum-validated parking stub.
