The Orlando Science Center’s Young Maker Workshop helps hone little maker skills! Draw a template and use hammers and nails to create your very own string art!

Guests will be able to explore simple tools while creating beautiful patterns with string and nails.

This Maker project focuses on the following skills: measuring, cutting, spatial awareness and learning to hammer nails.

There will be three workshops on Saturday and Sunday in Dr. Dare’s Lab inside of Our Planet Our Universe on Level 4. Space is limited so it is first come, first serve.

Workshops run for roughly 45 minutes and begin at:
• 11:30 a.m.
• 1:30 p.m.
• 3:00 p.m.


Experience the Young Maker Workshop with admission to Orlando Science Center which is $27 for adults, $24 for seniors and students, and $18 for youth (ages 3 – 11). Tickets include access to all four floors of exhibits, the blockbuster exhibit Mummies of the World, giant screen and 3-D educational films, one Hollywood feature-length film, and live programming.
