Two three-part spectacles showcasing the best cutting-edge dance and performance art.

For the second year running, the urban culture festival Kalypso promises two special opening evenings of cutting-edge dance and performance art from 18-19 November, with many follow-up events in the days after. First up on the programme: hip-hop dancer Michel Onomo brings his new 25-minute solo show, ‘Ghost Flow’, with musical accompaniment from DJ Franck II Louise. This will lead into Faboo and Valentina, who perform the striking ‘D'où l’oiseau’ (a thought-provoking meditation on the paradoxes of human relationships), and a finale in the shape of Marion Motin’s fantastical new ballet ‘Dharani’ (which takes cues from the far-fetched alternate worlds of Hayao Miyazaki and Tim Burton).
