On at the cosy Slow Galerie until May 14, ‘Mystiques Mystères’ is a mind-bending display of illustrations centred around the occult, the zodiac and various other phenomena from mythology and astrology. An eclectic range of local artists have contributed works to the collection, each piece an inventive take on one of the wide-ranging themes, from Maïc Batmane’s images of saints covered in tattoos to the sensual reinterpretations of mythological animals and the Pythia by Il Pistrice. More than anything, the exhibit’s a great way to discover some of Paris’s best and most imaginative new illustrators and graphic designers.
