Ballet de l'opéra de Lyon

Never let it be said that local opera companies shouldn’t travel. Known for its rich repertoire (with Trisha Brown, William Forsythe, Mats Ek and Maguy Marin), the Lyon Opera are joining together with the CND for a great double-handed show. At 7pm, a working session with extracts from the dancers’ classes and routines, as a sort of first course. This is followed, half an hour later, by a selection of pieces from the excellent ‘Sarabande’ repertoire, and ‘This Part in Darkness’ by Benjamin Millepied (star of the New York City Ballet and choreographer of ‘Black Swan’).
