Time Out says

‘A space in which to be seen from close up and from all sides’ - so Jozsef Trefeli and Gabor Varga describe their makeshift stage. The audience is cordoned off into a square around which the two dancers begin their performance, all percussive leaps and impressionistic shimmies. Both sprung from the Hungarian diaspora, Trefeli and Vagra infuse their show with references to their cultural roots: folk melodies permeate the music, and the red and white of the flag of Arpad (Grand Prince of the Magyars in the ninth century) decorate the set. But it’s all refracted through a contemporary lens, with modern dance still very much the order of the day.
