Passo

Italian choreographer Ambra Senatore wanted to be a movie director. Destiny saw things otherwise. And thank goodness it did, for Senatore’s performance style is in a class of its own – at the crossroads between theatre, dance and visual art. With Passo (Pas/Démarche) a piece for 6 dancers, and Passo, a duo (presented respectively at the Théâtre des Abbesses and then at the Montfort) the choreographer uses the themes of doubt and surprise to create dynamic, yet wholly graceful performances.
