Le Living

Le Living’s location has a high novelty value. Along with a disco club and bowling alley, it forms a cavernous social space beneath the Metro at the foot of the traffic-heavy Arc de Triomphe. Hard to find, it ain’t. As the restaurant, Le Living has the most intimate feel of Le Duplex’s three rooms of fun. Rows of Chesterfield armchairs mark out a stylish lounge entrance area, beyond which glows the domed dining area, decorated with oversized art and beautifully lit. A decent three-course set menu plus a bottle of wine, a cocktail and mineral water is served Tuesday to Friday. Saturday sees the three courses swapped for a big buffet. Meal over, you’re welcome to head for a dance, go bowling or play billiards.
