There’s now a reason to enter the no man's land between Liege and Rome Metro stations in the 8th. Opened at the start of 2010, Le Percolateur’s stylish up-to-date bistro design, nice atmosphere, good service and great value lunches are drawing a steady flow of inquisitive foodies keen to decide first hand whether this newbie is a hit. It’s a good looking dining room, for sure, with a street-facing glass wall making the most of the other bright white walls carefully decorated with Warhol-ish art and modern lighting. In the kitchen typical French dishes are freshened up by international touches and a focus on seasonality. To catch Le Percolateur’s daily specials you have to go at lunch; it’s the only time they’re served.
