From lunchtimes onwards on sunny days, the banks of the Canal de l'Ourcq heave with well-dressed people enjoying their déjeuner by the water – so it's good to see one group of t'ai chi enthusiasts reclaiming the space in mornings as one for calm and reflection. All summer long in 2014, there are free classes from 10am-12noon, led by professional teachers from the national t'ai chi federation. So now there's no excuse to give qi gong a try...
