The Battle of Penang Hawker Masters 2012

This Sunday, catch local street vendors and your favourite hawker cooks compete for the ultimate title in The Battle of Penang Hawker Masters 2012. Finalists from the preliminary round will go head-to-head in various street food categories and expect to see them whip up the best curry mee, nasi lemak, pasembur, rojak, hokkien mee and char kuay teow to win the grand prize. Shoppers can also partake in the tasting session with a RM10 ticket. Queuing early will get you a free goodie bag and a shot at their lucky draw. However, only 300 tickets are allocated to the public at Penang Times Square's information counter.
