Calling aspiring filmmakers and videographers, online submission for Tropfest South East Asia is now open. To be in the running to win USD$10,000 cash and a trip to Los Angeles for a week's meeting with film industry executives, simply submit a seven minute film in any language (must be subtitled in English) and most importantly, include this year's Tropfest Signature Item, 'Rice'. This competition is open to residents and citizens of Southeast Asia and competition deadline is Oct 28, 2013. The winner will be announced at the Tropfest festival in Penang on Jan 25, 2014.
