George Town Festival 2014: The Kitchen

This music theatre performance explores the concept of the body as a vessel and revolves around the idea of how we make relationships ‘palatable’ to each other. It features mizhavu drummers from Kerala and inspired by the teachings of Rumi, a mystical philosopher. The results is a fabulous intertwining of contemporary and folk performances.
