Viviene, a French consul’s wife set sail to the deepest part of New Guinea in search for exotic feathers for her Parisian export business. Along the way, she stumbled upon four European travellers and followed their journey to ‘La Vallee’ or The Valley, located high in the Guinean scenic mountains. She then forges a close friendship with the Mapuga tribe.
