Fremantle Aboriginal Events says
The Aboriginal Cultural Centre (ACC) is located upon Whadjuk (A dialectal group of Nyoongar) land near the round house in Fremantle, Western Australia. The ACC lies within a part of Fremantle known to Whadjuk as Walyalup which means place of the Kangaroo rat or Walyo/Woylie. We share the Bathers Beach Art Pricinct with several other artists but we are staffed exclusively by Aboriginal people. The Aboriginal Cultural Centre is built upon what remains of a limestone headland that has mythological significance to Traditional Owners, the Whadjuk People.

Whadjuk land extends from Two Rocks in the north to near Rockingham in the south and eatswards to the Carta Moorda or Perth Hills. We are Perth's newest Aboriginal Cultural Centre showcasing only Authentic Aboriginal art, music, dance as well as running a series of activities and events facilitated by Aboriginal people throughout the year. We provide visitors from around the world with a unique Aboriginal experience. To find out more call 9430 7906.
