That wordy stuff...
JimiJ is a producer and DJ from Perth, Australia.

When the first international DJ to play your track is Armin Van Buuren, you know things are going in the right direction.

JimiJ's second solo EP was released on Electronic Elements, the deeper more progressive sub-label of Armada. The A-side record 'Mea Culpa' garnered support from some of the biggest names of the international DJ community.

Armin Van Buuren played Mea Culpa three times on his A State of Trance Tour 600 around the world and even included the track on his Essential Mix for 2013 broadcasted on BBC Radio 1.

Other DJs that have supported JimiJ include Paul Oakenfold, Simon Patterson, Solarstone, Ruben de Ronde, Darin Epsilon, Praveen Achary and more.

While releasing melodic and progressive material on labels such as Armada and Enhanced, JimiJ also has a darker, deeper side to his records showcased on Darin Epsilon's label Perspectives Digital and Inkfish Recordings, for example the tracks ‘Roadblock’ and 'Trouw'. This versatile approach to producing with no two records ever sounding formulaic shows the depth of his musical range.

This versatility has carried through outside the studio and onto the dancefloor - where JimiJ is known for his sets, which blend genres seamlessly and push musical boundaries. A fixture in Perth's house and techno purveyors Habitat, he has supported and played alongside some of the biggest international names including Hernan Cattaneo, Danny Howells, Jody Wisternoff, Henry Saiz, Tube & Berger and John Digweed. Recently opening Sven Vath's Cocoon Stage at the Future Music Festival 2015 alongside Nuphoria and with a follow-up release to Mea Culpa coming soon on Armada, there are big things in store this year for Perth producer.

Supported:
John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, Henry Saiz, Lane 8, Alex Niggemann, Hot Since 82, Mano Le Tough
