Join us at Pirate Bar on Sunday 20th March 2016 as the Small Bar Association of WA welcomes one of Australia’s biggest bar exports Naren Young to discuss all things hospitality in a one-of-a-kind networking event.

Meet other like-minded peers and discover how you can take your ventures to the next level as Naren walks us through the following:

● Global drink trends — what is the world putting in their glasses in 2016?
● New York — find out all about the changes, trends and what’s happening right now in one of the world’s most exciting cities
● The psychology and cost implications of creating a world-class drinks menu
● The little details that go into spearing a good bar from a great bar — important information for all small business owners to know
● How and why bars under his wing in New York have achieved what they have over the last few years

Beginning his career in Sydney with a brief stint in London, Naren headed straight to New York where he’s continues to take the industry by storm.

The freelance journalist and former Editor in Chief of Australian Bartender Magazine has spoken at various Bar Shows around the world, from Portland and Moscow to Berlin and Prague, and appeared on Australian and American television alongside Martha Stewart, Kerri Anne and Emeril Lagasse.

With a career that spans many far-flung corners of the globe, Naren has plenty of must-know tips and industry secrets to share.
