Time Out says
Winter Series 2015 unites unique voices from around the world.
Spanish choreographer Cayetano Soto “creates work of stunning originality” (Huffington Post). Soto will present the U.S. premiere of his critically acclaimed work "Malasangre", an homage to the Cuban singer La Lupe with a surprising flare of sexiness and humor. Val Caniparoli’s "Triptych", a poignant work based on a series of war photographs taken before, during, and after combat, will also premiere on the company during Winter Series alongside the 2009 duet "It’s Not A Cry" by Amy Seiwert. Rounding out the program is a world premiere by emerging Filipino-American choreographer Norbert De La Cruz III, which will feature original music by composer Ben Juodvalkis.
