Homeschooler Days Morning Session

February’s lesson topic is “Clothes and Culture in an Ever-Changing World.” Do your clothes say something about who you are and what you do? We’ll take a look at history in the context of fashion to see how people have thought of themselves, looked at one another, and lived day-to-day through the centuries. Our Homeschooler Days program serves homeschooled students, ages 5 – 13, and meets monthly with morning and afternoon sessions to choose from. This year’s topics range from botany to colonial cooking, and from navigation to creating music from birdsong! Morning session: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Each lesson includes activities, reading, snacks, and walks through the garden (weather permitting). At least one adult chaperone is required for every two children. Pre-registration required.
