Time Out says

3 out of 5 stars

This annual event, hosted by the Johnson House Historic Site in Germantown, commemorates the passing and ratification of the 13th Amendment to the Constitution, which abolished slavery in the United States. All day long, kids and adults partake in activities that celebrate this history-making event, including a freedom walk and parade, historical reenactments, performance art, guided tours of the area, a panel discussion, food, drinks and a vendor marketplace.
