Philadelphia area people - once a year we have the opportunity to stand up to the abuses of Ringling Brothers Circus happening right in our backyard. This is the first of six days of protesting. Animal ACTivists of Philly will provide all the signage and literature. It is so important that we get as many people to come out to the protests as possible to send of message to Ringling that their abuses will not go unnoticed in our community.
Photographs of baby elephants at Ringling Bros. training/breeding center in Florida can be seen here: http://www.ringlingbeatsanimals.com/.
Did you know that Ringling Bros. chains elephants in boxcars on average for 26 hours straight and up to 100 hours? This is your chance to speak up for them and all of the other animals trapped in the Ringling Bros. circus. Peaceful protests will be held before every show - a total of 12. Facebook events have been created for each rally. Please RSVP to each event you can attend.
