Fiddler's Dream Coffeehouse says
From new-folk to bluegrass and pop, Posner twists genres to create a fresh catchy sound. Abby arranges, writes, and plays nearly all of the instruments on her albums. The sounds you hear are both pleasantly dark and playful. And she is on tour with her mix of porch-rock and new-folk! For the Myth: "We tour as a duo - myself on banjo/guitar vocals and kick drum, along with my upright bass player. We have been compared to The Lumineers, Shakey Graves, and a modern Bob Dylan. You can watch videos, hear tunes, and check out our bio at www.abbyandthemyth.com " Abby Posner is a versatile instrumentalist and songwriter who started playing and performing at a young age. Originally from Evergreen Colorado, Posner moved to California in 2002 to study at California Institute of the Arts as a multi focused music major. During her time at CalArts Abby began to form the eclectic bluegrass-rock band, Fearmia; Abby on guitar, mandolin, and banjo, while sharing lead vocals and songwriting with friend and band-mate Jesse Olema.
