Dave Damiani And The No Vacancy Orchestra With Renee Olstead An says
The No Vacancy Orchestra is one of the hottest young orchestras on either coast. Led by bandleader and singer Dave Damiani, this exciting, fresh ensemble delivers a power-packed punch of swinging entertainment. They are coming off of a string of sold-out shows in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Indianapolis, and many other cities. In the band are young jazz all-stars Alex Frank on bass, Gary Matsumoto on piano, Aaron McLendon on drums, and Bijon Watson on lead trumpet.

The group will be joined by singers Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. and Renee Olstead. Murphy truly has a rags-to-riches story. At the time he auditioned for the popular reality television series America’s Got Talent, he was washing cars for a living in his hometown of Logan, West Virginia. The only nice clothes he owned were the ones on his back: a pair of jeans, a modest button-down shirt, and a jacket. Fortunately, you don’t need a slick wardrobe to win America’s heart; you need talent and personality, and Murphy has a great deal of both. Wowing the judges with his story of homelessness and determination—not to mention his stellar interpretations of classics by Cole Porter, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and others—Murphy walked away with the million-dollar grand prize in front of 14 million viewers. According to show insiders, Murphy won America’s Got Talent by the biggest vote total in the first six seasons of the show.

Born in Texas of Norwegian ancestry, Renee Olstead is an actress and singer who is best known for her teen-drama television role in the series, The Secret Life of the American Teenager. She has also appeared in a few feature films and recorded four studio albums, mainly of jazz music.
