ASU's Earth & Space Open House says
Join us at our first Earth & Space Open House of the Fall semester celebrating the monumental strides ASU is making in the development of CubeSats, small shoebox-sized spacecraft with incredible scientific capabilities! This month's event features a panel discussion on CubeSats (8:15 PM in the Marston Exploration Theater) with members of the Phoenix Undergradaute Satellite Mission team, a talented group of ASU students selected by NASA to design, build, and manage a satellite mission from conception to launch. This CubeSat, named Phoenix, will use thermal imaging from space to investigate urban heat islands around Phoenix and several other cities. Be sure to also stop by the Sun Devil Satellite Laboratory table to find out about other exciting CubeSat projects going on at ASU!

TWO 3D planetarium shows - 7:15 PM and 9:15 PM in the Marston Exploration Theater

Telescope Viewing (weather permitting) - 8:00-10:00 PM (follow signs)

As usual, there will be many exciting demonstrations and activities in the state-of-the-art ISTB4 Gallery of Scientific Exploration by experts in astrobiology, geology, cosmology, planetary science and more!

Free admission! (Planetarium show and lecture seating is first come first serve. Theater will be cleared after each event.)

Please spread the word to your family, friends, and anyone else interested in learning more about earth and space exploration. All are welcome!
