February First Friday At The Heard Museum says
Celebrate the merging of creative forces in the desert at this First Friday.

Enjoy a fashion show featuring OXDX Clothing and the House of Darylene, with a special hoop dance performance by Kevin Dakota Duncan.

The night will include live mixing and spinning by DJ Element throughout the evening.

In the Shop, see Hopi katsina doll carver Ryon Polequaptewa as he practices the traditional art of carving.

Catch a special performance by poet Tanaya Winder, author of Words Like Love, who will be accompanied by musician Keith Secola from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m., concluding with a book signing.

From 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., you’ll get a special sneak peek of the exhibit "Confluence: Inter-generational Collaborations." The exhibit opens to the public on Saturday, Feb. 6.

And as usual, admission is free.
